PROJECT: Transportation and disposal of TSCA regulated PCB wastes
Gould Island, RI- Phase I
Value: $ 830,000.00

DESCRIPTION: GRS was contracted by the confidential customer to provide services, materials and equipment necessary to provide transportation and disposal of approximately 4,000 tons of concrete roadway material containing trace PCB (non-TSCA), 250 tons of TSCA regulated concrete, 3,800 tons of TSCA regulated PCB soil and 2,000 gallons of TSCA contaminated water. All the waste was removed from the island utilizing tugs and barges, via roll-off containers. GRS then transported the roll-offs to a rail transfer station, where the wastes in the roll-offs were transferred into gondola cars for subsequent transportation directly to the TSCA landfill for disposal. Included in this service was completing waste characterization forms and manifests per TSCA regulations.

PROJECT: Transportation and disposal of “bulk” hazardous waste, containerized
hazardous waste and site remediation
Cutler, ME. - Phase I
Value: $ 530,000.00

DESCRIPTION: GRS was contracted by the confidential customer to provide services that included excavation, loading, transportation and disposal of waste discovered buried in the designated excavation area. Wastes encountered included PCB contaminated soil, PCB capacitors and hazardous waste drums. GRS characterized and profiled all of the wastes, supplied transportation (box trucks and roll-offs) and subsequently disposed of at properly licensed waste management facilities. Approximately 1,200 tons of wastes were removed from the site.

PROJECT: Transportation and disposal of “bulk” hazardous waste, containerized
hazardous waste and site remediation
Cutler, ME. - Phase II
Value: $ 300,000.00

DESCRIPTION: GRS was contracted by the confidential customer to provide services that included excavation, loading, transportation and disposal of waste discovered buried in the designated excavation area. Wastes encountered included BTEX contaminated soil, PCB contaminated soil, PCB capacitors and hazardous waste drums. GRS characterized and profiled all of the wastes and subsequently supplied transportation (box trucks and roll-offs) and subsequently disposed of at properly licensed waste management facilities. Approximately 750 tons of wastes were removed from the site.

4) CUSTOMER: Confidential Customer- Military Base

PROJECT: Transportation and disposal of bulk hazardous and “special wastes”
So. Weymouth Naval Air Station
Value: $ 185,000.00

DESCRIPTION: GRS was contracted by the confidential customer to provide roll-off containers, transportation and disposal of non-TSCA PCB soil (<50 PPM), TSCA regulated contaminated PCB soil and petroleum-impacted soils. Approximately 1,700 tons of wastes were removed from the Naval Air Station.

5) CUSTOMER: Confidential Customer- Military Contract (Union labor)

DESCRIPTION: GRS was contracted by the confidential customer to provide services; materials and equipment necessary to provide transportation and disposal of approximately 500 tons of TSCA regulated soil. All the waste was removed from the island utilizing tugs and barges, via roll-off containers. GRS then transported the roll-offs to a rail transfer station, where the waste in the roll-offs was transferred into gondola cars for subsequent transportation directly to the TSCA landfill for disposal. Included in this service was completing waste characterization forms and manifests per TSCA.

6) CUSTOMER: Confidential Customer- Military Contract

PROJECT: Lab pack and Tank Farm Decontamination
Newport, RI-
Value: $ 20,000

DESCRIPTION: GRS was contracted by the confidential customer to provide lab pack labor services, all the materials and equipment necessary to identify, package according to U.S. DOT requirements, profile, transport and dispose of several hundred chemicals. In addition, GRS decontaminated 10 above ground tanks containing water treatment chemicals, including concentrated acids and alkalines.

7) CUSTOMER: Confidential Customer- Military Contract

PROJECT: Transportation and disposal of Contaminated Soils
So. Weymouth Naval Air Base, Weymouth, MA
Value: $ 615,000

DESCRIPTION: GRS was contracted by the confidential customer to provide services, materials and equipment necessary to provide transportation and disposal of approximately 27,000 tons of contaminated soil in 11 days. GRS’s services also included completing profiling for facility acceptance and all the appropriate shipping papers.

8) CUSTOMER: Confidential Customer- Military Contract

PROJECT: Pipeline Cleaning Project
So. Weymouth Naval Air Base, Weymouth, MA
Value: $ 275,000

DESCRIPTION: GRS was contracted by the confidential customer to provide all the necessary labor, equipment and supplies to jet-rod over 50,000 linear feet of pipeline ranging from 8” to 60” in diameter. GRS utilized HazMat trained employees to operate the jet rod system, a vacuum truck and vactor to accomplish the scope of work. The cleaned pipelines were then inspected utilizing remote video equipment. Results of the pipeline inspection were documented on videotape and described in a written report.

9) CUSTOMER: Confidential Customer- Military Contract

PROJECT: Fuels Recycling
OTIS Air Force Base, Cape Cod, MA
Value: $ 25,000/year

DESCRIPTION: GRS was contracted by the confidential customer to provide transportation and recycling services to dispose of JP-8 off-specification fuel on a monthly basis. GRS assisted the client in working with the MA.DEP to obtain recycling permits, as well as locating facilities that could utilize the JP-8 in a recycling process, as an alternate fuel.

10) CUSTOMER: Confidential Customer

PROJECT: Drum Transportation and Disposal
Various EPA Superfund Sites in MA., CT., RI, ME, and NH
Value: $ 15,000/year

DESCRIPTION: GRS was contracted by the confidential customer to provide transportation and disposal on containerized “investigation derived wastes”. The service also included characterization of the wastes, profiling, and providing preprinted shipping documents (e.g. manifest and land bans.).

Nomans Land Island, Chilmark, MA
Value: $ 80,000.00

DESCRIPTION: GRS was contracted by the confidential customer to provide services, materials and equipment necessary to provide a wide range of environmental services on a remote island. These services included the transportation and disposal of contaminated soils utilizing roll-off containers, removal of an underground storage tank, test pitting and UXO screening and site restoration
