GRS's
transportation and disposal philosophy is twofold, (1) provide
superior comprehensive turnkey services directly to our customers
and (2), develop and maintain key relationships with a variety
of reputable properly permitted waste management companies.
GRS has developed strategic alliances with several reputable
waste management and recycling facilities that are capable
of handling every conceivable type of waste stream. GRS will
work with each customer and assist in accurately characterizing
and profiling each waste stream. Our technical staff then
reviews each waste material profile to determine the optimum
waste disposal/treatment method and the appropriate destination
site. The first option is always to determine if the waste
can be recycled in order to provide the generator with the
greatest risk aversion treatment method and compliance with
the U.S. EPA Pollution Prevention Act. As a result of emphasizing
this option to generators, GRS has developed a network of
recycling and non-regulated wastewater facilities that are
capable of handling the following waste streams:
- UNIVERSAL WASTES (E.G. LAMPS, BATTERIES, MERCURY DEVICES)
- NON- RCRA WASTE WATER/WASH WATER STREAMS
- BULK LIQUIDS/SOLIDS
- SPECIAL WASTES
- COOLING TOWER SLUDGES/SEDIMENT
- CFC/REFIGERANTS/COOLANTS
- MIXED ELECTRONICS/CATHODE RAY TUBES (CRT)
