Global Remediation Services is seeking a highly motivated individual for a Heavy Equipment Operator position.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Performing heavy equipment operation on environmental excavation projects, solar/utility installation projects, constructing access roads, excavation, trenching, backfilling concrete pad preparation, site grading, stumping, brush mowing/minor land clearing, material screening and crushing, soil loadout, and site restoration

  • Adhering to and promoting a safe working environment

  • In addition to equipment operation this position includes general labor tasks

  • Includes the daily need to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs

  • Operating commercial motor vehicles(less than 26,001 lbs)

  • Maintaining a good attendance

  • Self-motivated and strong ability to work in a team environment

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Clean driving record

  • Valid driver’s license

  • MA hoisting license

  • Must be able to pass a HazMat & DOT physical, drug screen and background check (TWIC)

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30

  • Construction, Environmental, or Industry Experience

  • RI hoisting license

  • 40-hr HAZWOPER
